Following a mass catastrophe, humanity is doing what it can to recover. Luckily, a new mineral has been discovered that can aid in that recovery. Unluckily, that same mineral is also a threat to what’s left of the livable spaces on Earth, as it is capable of multiplying at a rate that will consume the planet.
In Amazing Seasun Games’ mech-themed third-person shooter Mecha BREAK, players take on the role of mech pilots in the S.H.A.D.O.W. organization in order to uncover the mysteries of the mineral known as Corite and find a way to protect what remains of civilization. Players can choose from five types of mechs: assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, or support to team up with others in a variety of battle modes. These include 3v3, 6v6, and PvPvE extraction. The extraction mode can be played solo or in squads consisting of up to three players. Mechs aren’t just armed with guns. Players can choose to fight using weapons ranging from a battle-axe to a laser sword. Of course, there are projectiles and lasers as well. In the extraction mode, they’ll fight for supplies, secure zones, and contend with Pulse Storms. As they progress, players can customize their mechs with special paint jobs, insignias, and more. When not fighting, they can explore their S.H.A.D.O.W. hangar, recruit allies, and more.
